Wymondham Ladies 14, Sprowston 0

Wymondham played their last pre-season match before their season starts next Sunday, and came away with a very convincing 14-0 win against Sprowston.

Wymondham started at a high tempo and were deciding the tempo of the game with high quality football and were rewarded with three goals in the first 15 minutes.

From this point on, Wymondham relaxed and knocked the ball around confidently, making a host of chances and adding 2 more goals in the first half. Again, Wymondham started brightly, and added 9 goals in the second half, executing through balls, crosses and finishing with ease which was a joy to watch.

It wasn’t all about the goals though as Wymondham had to remain focused for when Sprowston did break, but dominated from start to finish in a very professional manor.

It was very promising to see Sophie add overlapping to her game and for Georgie to look so lively.

Pof the match: Mez for her faultless performance from the left of midfield, contributing with three goals and a hand in several other goals too.

Other top performers were Woody and Louise for their goals and crossing and Gemma for her four goals.
