A gym in Wymondham is undergoing a £150,000 refurbishment and is promising fitness fans more workout rooms and brand-new equipment.
New Revolution Health and Fitness, which has been open for six years, will be revamped to take the business to "another level".
Alex Pettengell, manager of the site in Chestnut Drive, said: "This will be a really exciting refurbishment that will make the gym appear like new.
"There are now six NR Health and Fitness branches but Wymondham was the first so we wanted to reinvest in the business and take it to the next level.
"There will be all new equipment throughout, revamped gym areas and brand new studio room dedicated to Les Mills workout programmes."
The work is expected to be completed by mid-August and to celebrate the gym is offering people the chance to sign up for only £1 with nothing to pay until September.
The firm has been going from strength to strength in recent years despite stiff competition from national gym chains.
It now has sites across the county and in Suffolk, in Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Dereham, Attleborough and Watton.
Mr Pettengell added: "We cater for all abilities and demographics so it will be great to welcome everyone to see the improvements.
"There is a great supportive community feel to our gyms and it is brilliant to see everyone constantly improve and obtain their fitness goals with us."
NR Wymondham will be closed until August 14 for the refurbishments to be carried out but members can instead access the firm's other gyms across the county.
