A section of the A11 was shut and drivers had been advised to avoid the area due to a number of broken down vehicles.
Officers were alerted to the incident on the northbound carriageway near Spooner Row at about 12.15pm today (Sunday, September 17).
According to Norfolk police, a number of vehicles suffered tyre punctures.
A11 Spooner Row, northbound - road is temporarily closed whilst we clear some vehicles which have tyre punctures. Try to avoid this route if you can. #ccr #norfolkroads

Drivers had been advised to use an alternative route.
