This has coincided with the unveiling of Peter Beales' new 'With Courage' rose, a special variety bred to celebrate the RNLI's volunteers and to raise vital funds.
This was launched at the Press Day on Monday, featuring a photocall with Blue Peter presenters Anthea Turner, Janet Ellis and Lindsey Russell.

Covering more than 100 square meters, it features an RNLI lifeboat surrounded by thousands of roses.
Nursery manager Ian Limmer designed this year's display and hybridisation manager Michael Baldwin nurtured the roses over many months.
