A 15-year-old may be the unluckiest schoolboy in the country after breaking his leg in a PE lesson just days after recovering from a fractured collarbone.
Ethan Brown was playing football during the lesson at Wymondham High School when an “awful tackle” left him in “agony” on the floor.
It was the first time he had played contact sport in nine weeks after recovering from a fractured collarbone.
An air ambulance was sent to the school and when Ethan’s mum arrived, she found him in a “heap on the floor” with his leg twisted and part of his bone visible.
Laura Brown was told “how brave Ethan had been” but was urged to “prepare for what she was about to see”.

Ethan was given strong pain relief by medical teams at the scene before being taken by land ambulance to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
The fresh injury, which happened last Tuesday, comes as Ethan is fundraising for a charity trip to Peru next year.
"Believe it or not he still wants to go ahead and is determined not to give up,” Ms Brown said. "All the teachers want to donate to the GoFundMe.”
Despite being in a wheelchair while he recovers, Ethan has refused to cancel his upcoming fundraising events and plans to be at Wymondham Football Club on Sunday.
The event, which runs from 11am to 3pm, will include a performance by viral Norfolk singer Leon Mallett and there will be more than 30 stalls with a variety of things for families to enjoy.
Ms Brown added: "I can’t thank the staff at Wymondham High School who helped Ethan enough and the amazing staff at the scene and all the staff at the hospital for everything they have done."
